ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

  • BLEND OF AHAs: fruit acids used to promote skin exfoliation as they can break the bonds that hold epidermal cells (keratinocytes) together.
  • Glycolic Acid: alpha hydroxy acid extracted from sugar cane and beet; the small size of the molecule makes it highly penetrable and capable of entering the interlamellar spaces to reach and stimulate the deeper layers of the epidermis (collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans).
  • Lactic Acid: alpha hydroxy acid derived from the fermentation of “lactic” bacteria on molasses, beets, or sugar cane; compared to glycolic acid, it has a gentler exfoliating action (larger molecule and therefore less penetrable) and associates moisturizing and hydrating properties.
  • Mandelic Acid: alpha hydroxy acid derived from bitter almonds whose molecule, being larger than glycolic acid, has a progressive exfoliating action and excellent skin tolerance. Ideal as support for purifying, anti-spot, and anti-aging actions.
  • KOJIC ACID: chelating agent derived from the metabolism of fungi of the genus Aspergillus; with antioxidant action, it interferes with tyrosinase (a key enzyme in melanin synthesis), promoting a lightening and depigmenting effect, also preventive, ideal for spots and skin discolorations.
  • HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN: a fundamental protein for skin beauty that, when subjected to hydrolysis, is reduced to highly penetrable micro protein fragments and used in the form of water-soluble threads.
  • COENZYME Q10 (ubiquinone): a liposoluble molecule with powerful antioxidant properties useful for combating inflammation, free radicals, and the imperfections related to UV damage.
